nectar-blocks-column nectar-block nectar-l1\" id=\"block-de6e2fba86\">\n<p id=\"block-35e26533d4\" class=\"wp-block-nectar-blocks-text nectar-blocks-text\">In 2007 richtte Bernard Majoie de Stichting Fournier-Majoie op, gedreven door de wil om &#8220;<strong>iets terug te doen<\/strong>&#8221; en een deel van zijn succes ten dienste te stellen van onderzoekers die actief zijn in de strijd tegen kanker. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p id=\"block-D4r8lkjaAy\" class=\"wp-block-nectar-blocks-text nectar-blocks-text\">De oorspronkelijke naam van de Stichting draagt zijn verhaal en zijn verbondenheid met de Laboratoires Fournier, waaraan hij een groot deel van zijn loopbaan wijdde.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p id=\"block-2fe197adad\" class=\"wp-block-nectar-blocks-text nectar-blocks-text\">Fournier-Majoie is ons De naam verwijst ook naar de opwaartse beweging van een ontdekking die vordert, van het labo tot bij de pati\u00ebnt (from research to cure). Het is de collectieve elan van iedereen die opstaat (onderzoekers, donateurs, filantropen, U) om het onderzoek vooruit te helpen. Zo ontstaat een <strong>hefboomeffect<\/strong>: ons engagement stelt andere financiers gerust, vergemakkelijkt de toegang tot overheidsmiddelen en opent de weg naar aanvullende financiering. Bernard Majoie: <strong>te veel veelbelovend kankeronderzoek bereikt nooit de pati\u00ebnten<\/strong>, bij gebrek aan aangepaste financi\u00eble en managementondersteuning.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p id=\"block-37a910388d\" class=\"wp-block-nectar-blocks-text nectar-blocks-text\">Gedurende 35 jaar wijdde hij zijn loopbaan aan het onderzoek en de ontwikkeling van de Laboratoires Fournier, die hij liet groeien van 400 naar meer dan 4 000 medewerkers. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p id=\"block-e6659b13a3\" class=\"wp-block-nectar-blocks-text nectar-blocks-text\">Gesterkt door die ervaring besluit hij &#8220;<strong>iets terug te doen<\/strong>&#8220;.
